I have had the honor of attending several universities and Calvary Bible Institute met and exceeded my expectations. The admission process was flawless, and the attentiveness of Dean McNair allowed me to have my application processed in record breaking time. The classes are affordable, and one would expect to pay more for the quality of the education received.

As a lifelong student of leadership and a leadership coach, I was prepared to step into shadow water to get refreshed. Never did I imagine that I would be empowered with additional leadership tools that would serve as a cornerstone in building out this next level on my leadership foundation.

Professor Kevin Brown's " Principles of Leadership" class was truly exceptional. His passion, dedication and commitment to every class went above and beyond expectation. Although I have pastored for over a decade, Professor Brown's combination of insightful discussions, well-structured assignments, and relevant guest speakers created a rich learning environment that significantly deepened my understanding on the Principles of Leadership.

From the onset, Professor Brown declared the class would be just as much fun as enlightening, and his demeanor, character, and ability to teach across different aspects truly made it a phenomenal time of study. To further bolster my claims of the greatness of the class, as soon as the next semester started, my wife and I enrolled the majority of our ministerial leaders who were also deeply impacted by the class, and it has shown in their servanthood ever since. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning the core, nature, and development of an impactful leader.

Calvary Bible Institute has been a transformative beacon in helping me develop my calling. When I began in August 2023 with the goal of achieving my Ministry Certification, I had no idea how richly I would be blessed in the process. The dedicated facilitators not only groomed and nurtured my calling but also challenged me to see beyond my current state of mind and embrace the fullness of God’s plan for my life.

Through this journey, I’ve built meaningful, like-minded friendships and even rekindled connections with old friends, strengthening my spiritual walk. Each term, I eagerly anticipate what God has in store for me next.

Calvary Bible Institute is more than a school—it’s a family. Whether you’re a local member or living states away, you feel an undeniable connection to the call and the shared mission. I am profoundly grateful to be part of this incredible community.

Last semester, I enrolled in Principles of Leadership at Calvary Bible Institute and the instructor was Elder Kevin Brown. I thought this would be just another class that told me what leaders are supposed to do to be “in charge.” However, this was a transformative class. I was taught to reflect on who I am as a person in the present moment and given valuable tools that would help me to transform myself to become not only a better leader, but a better person. This was a very reflective moment in my life that caused me to consider my character as a person and my role as a leader.

Simultaneously, I was put in real-life situations that tested my true growth and development into the person I desired to be while also comparing my growth in my relationship with God. I cannot express how grateful I am to have encountered Elder Brown. God used him to help me get on the right track with my relationship with God, and my journey continues.

I thank Calvary Bible Institute for offering such transformative classes and I am grateful that I am part of such a great school. I am getting exactly what I need to help me develop into the person I want to become.
